3D Renovation Design Toronto
See Your Space Before We Build It | Bathroom & Kitchen Renders | Renomark Certified (BILD Member)
One of the biggest sources of renovation regret is committing to materials and a layout before fully understanding how the finished space will look. The tile you loved in the showroom reads differently at scale across an entire shower wall. The cabinet colour that looked warm under store lighting looks different under your bathroom pot lights. The layout you planned on paper doesn't flow the way you imagined once you're standing in it. 3D renovation design eliminates that uncertainty before a single thing is demolished.
We model your bathroom or kitchen in 3D to the exact dimensions of your space, place your selected tile, cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes into the design, and render it photorealistically from multiple angles. You see the finished room before anything starts. If something doesn't look right — the tile is too busy, the vanity is too large, the grout colour is wrong — we change it in the model, not in your home. The design process is iterative and we revise until you're confident in every decision.
3D Design Render — Hero Image
Replace with a wide photorealistic 3D render of a completed bathroom or kitchen design
The 3D design service is available as a standalone service for homeowners who want to plan their renovation carefully before approaching contractors, and as an integrated part of the renovation process for clients who book their renovation with us. For clients who proceed with us, the design cost is credited against the renovation.
WHAT YOU GET
What's Included in the 3D Design
Accurate Dimensions
The 3D model is built to the actual measurements of your space. Door and window locations, ceiling height, existing plumbing rough-in positions — all reflected in the model so the design is a realistic representation of what will actually be built, not a generic template.
Tile and Material Visualization
Your actual tile selections, grout colour, countertop material, cabinet finish, and fixtures are placed into the design. If you're deciding between two tile options or two cabinet colours, we render both so you can compare them side by side in your actual space.
Photorealistic Renders
Finished renders from multiple angles — straight-on views of each wall, a perspective view from the doorway, close-up detail shots of the tile work and fixtures. The renders are high-resolution and realistic enough to give you a genuine sense of what the completed renovation will look like.
Design Revisions
The design process is collaborative and iterative. If the first version doesn't feel right — the layout needs adjusting, a material needs to change, you want to see a different tile pattern — we revise. The goal is for you to be fully confident in the plan before anything is ordered or built.
Layout Planning
Fixture placement, traffic flow, storage location, and the practical decisions that affect how a space functions daily. Where the vanity goes relative to the shower. Whether the toilet is in the right corner. Whether there's enough clearance at the door. We think through these things in the design so they don't become problems during the build.
Material List and Tile Layout Plan
A materials summary covering your selected tile, grout, countertop, cabinetry, and fixtures. For tile, we include a layout plan showing how the tile will be set — the starting point, the pattern direction, and where cuts will fall — so there are no layout surprises on installation day.

Why 3D Design Saves Money on a Renovation
The decisions that are easiest to change in a renovation are the ones you make before the work starts. Changing them after is expensive.
-
Tile changes after installation: Re-tiling a shower that was just tiled costs as much as doing it the first time, plus demolition. If the tile selection isn't right, the time to know is before it's ordered and set.
-
Layout problems discovered mid-build: Moving a drain or a rough-in after the floor is opened up adds significant cost. Seeing the layout in 3D before demolition starts catches these problems early.
-
Cabinetry orders that don't fit: Custom and semi-custom cabinetry is non-refundable once ordered. Getting the layout and sizing confirmed in 3D before ordering prevents costly mistakes.
-
Confidence in material selection: Homeowners who skip the design step sometimes get to the end of the renovation and wish they had chosen a different tile or a different cabinet colour. 3D design eliminates that outcome by letting you make that call with certainty before anything is committed.
HOW IT WORKS
The 3D Design Process
Consultation and Measurements
We visit your home, take precise measurements of the space, photograph the existing conditions, and discuss your goals, style preferences, and budget. We talk through what you like, what you don't like about the current space, and what the renovation needs to accomplish.
Material Selection
We help you select tile, countertops, cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes. This can happen at showrooms we recommend or based on materials you've already found and want to incorporate. We advise on what works well together visually and practically and flag anything that might cause issues in installation.
3D Model and First Renders
We build the 3D model of your space with your selected materials and deliver the first set of photorealistic renders. This is typically completed within a few business days of receiving the measurements and material selections.
Review and Revisions
We review the renders together and discuss what's working and what you'd like to change. Material swaps, layout adjustments, fixture changes — we revise the model and re-render until you're happy with the design. Most projects take 1 to 2 revision rounds.
Final Design Package and Renovation Quote
Once the design is finalized you receive the completed render set, the tile layout plan, and the material summary. If you're proceeding with the renovation through us, the renovation quote is built directly from the confirmed design so there are no surprises between what you approved and what we build.
Frequently Asked Questions
The design includes a 3D model of your space built to actual dimensions, photorealistic renders from multiple angles showing your selected tile, cabinetry, countertops, and fixtures in place, a tile layout plan showing how the tile pattern will be set, a materials summary, and design revisions until you're satisfied with the result.
Design pricing varies based on the size and complexity of the space. For clients who proceed with their renovation through us, the design cost is credited against the renovation. Contact us for current pricing.
Yes. This is one of the most useful parts of the design process. If you're deciding between two tile options, two cabinet colours, or two countertop materials, we render both variations so you can see them in your actual space and make the decision with confidence rather than guessing.
After the consultation and measurements, the first renders are typically delivered within a few business days. Revision rounds take 2 to 4 business days each. Most projects are finalized within 1 to 2 weeks of the initial consultation. For clients with tight renovation timelines, we prioritize the design to fit the schedule.
You can go straight to renovation and many clients do, especially for straightforward projects or repeat clients who have worked with us before and know what they want. We recommend 3D design for larger renovations, complex layouts, clients who are uncertain about material selection, or anyone making a significant financial investment who wants certainty before committing. It's not required — it's an option that eliminates the most common sources of renovation regret.
